Bleeding love

Closed off from love
I didn’t need the pain
Once or twice was enough
And it was all in vain
Time starts to pass
Before you know it you’re frozen

But something happened
For the very first time with you
My heart melts into the ground
Found something true
And everyone’s looking round
Thinking I’m going crazy

But I don’t care what they say
I’m in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don’t know the truth
My heart’s crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I

Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open and I
(repeat Chorus)

Trying hard not to hear
But they talk so loud
Their piercing sounds fill my ears
Try to fill me with doubt
Yet I know that the goal
Is to keep me from falling

But nothing’s greater
Than the rush that comes with your embrace
And in this world of loneliness
I see your face
Yet everyone around me
Thinks that I’m going crazy, maybe, maybe

But I don’t care what they say
I’m in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don’t know the truth
My heart’s crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I

Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open and I
(repeat Chorus)

And it’s draining all of me
Oh they find it’s hard to believe
I’ll be wearing these scars
For everyone to see

I don’t care what they say
I’m in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don’t know the truth
My heart’s crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I

Hey there Delilah

hey there delilah
what’s it like in new york city
I’m a thousand miles away
but girl tonight you look so pretty
yes you do
time square can’t shine as bright as you
I swear it’s true

hey there delilah
dont you worry about the distance
I’m right there if you get lonely
give this song another listen
close your eyes
listen to my voice it’s my disguise
I’m by your side

oh it’s what you do to me

hey there delilah
I know times are gettin hard
but just believe me girl
someday ill pay the bills with this guitar
we’ll have it good
we’ll have the life we knew we would
my word is good

hey there delilah
I’ve got so much left to say
if every simple song I wrote to you
would take your breath away
I’d write it all
even more in love with me you’d fall
we’d have it all

oh it’s what you do to me

a thousand miles seems pretty far
but they’ve got trains and planes and cars
I’d walk to you if I had no other way
our friends would all make fun of us
and we’ll just laugh along because we know
that none of them have felt this way
delilah I can promise you
that by the time that we get through
the world will never ever be the same
and you’re to blame

hey there delilah
you be good and don’t you miss me
two more years and you’ll be done with school
and i’ll be makin history like i do
you know it’s all because of you
we can do whatever we want to
hey there delilah here’s to you
this one’s for you

oh it’s what you do to me

Hot'n cold

You’re hot, you’re cold
You’re hot, you’re cold
You’re hot, you’re cold
You’re hot, you’re cold

You change your mind like a girl changes clothes
Yeah you PMS like a bitch, I would know
And you, I would think always speak critically
I should know that you're no good for me

Cause you're hot, then you're cold
You're yes, then you're no
You're in, and you're out
You're up and your down
You're wrong when it's right
It's black and it's white
We fight, we break up
We kiss, we make up
You don't really wanna stay
But you don't really wanna go
Cause you're hot, then you're cold
You're yes, then you're no
You're in, and you're out
You're up and you're down

We used to be just like twins, so in sync
The same energy now's a dead battery
Used to laugh bout the thing now you're plain boring
I should know that you're not gonna change

Chorus

You’re hot, you’re cold
You’re hot, you’re cold
You’re hot, you’re cold
You’re hot, you’re cold

Someone call the doctor
Got a case of the love bipolar
Stuck on a roller coaster
Can't get off this ride

You change your mind like a girl changes clothes

Chorus

You’re hot, you’re cold
You’re hot, you’re cold
You’re hot, you’re cold
You’re hot, you’re cold

I don't feel like dancing

I don't feel like dancin' when the old Joanna plays
My heart could take a chance but my two feet can't find a way
You think that I could muster up a little soft, shoop devil sway
But I don't feel like dancin', no sir, no dancin today.

Wake up in the morning with a head like what ya done?
This used to be the life but I don't need no other one.
Good luck cuttin' nothin', carrying on, you wear them gowns.
So how come I feel so lonely when you're up getting down?

So I play along when I hear that special song
I'm gonna be the one who gets it right.
You better know when you're swimin' round the room
Look's like magic's solely yours tonight

I don't feel like dancin' when the old Joanna plays
My heart could take a chance but my two feet can't find a way
You think that I could muster up a little soft, shoop devil sway
But I don't feel like dancin', no sir, no dancin today.

Don't feel like dancin', dancin'
Even if I find nothin' better to do
Don't feel like dancin', dancin'
Why'd you break down when I'm not in the mood?
Don't feel like dancin' dancin'
Rather be home with no one when I can't get down with you

Cities come and cities go just like the old empires
When all you do is change your clothes and call that versatile.
You got so many colours make a blind man so confused.
Then why can't I keep up when you're the only thing I lose?

So I'll just pretend that I know which way to bend
I'm gonna tell the whole world that you're mine.
Just please understand, when I see you clap your hands
If you stick around I'm sure that you'll be fine.

I don't feel like dancin' when the old Joanna plays
My heart could take a chance but my two feet can't find a way
You think that I could muster up a little soft, shoop devil s way
But I don't feel like dancin', no sir, no dancin today.

Don't feel like dancin', dancin'
Even if I find nothin' better to do
Don't feel like dancin', dancin'
Why'd you break down when I'm not in the mood?
Don't feel like dancin' dancin'
Rather be home with no one when I can't get down with you
Rather be home with no one when I can't get down with you

You can't make me dance around
But your two-step makes my chest pound.
Just lay me down as you blow it away into the shimmer light.

But I don't feel like dancin' when the old Joanna plays
My heart could take a chance but my two feet can't find a way
You think that I could muster up a little soft, shoop devil sway
But I don't feel like dancin', no sir, no dancin today

Don't feel like dancin', dancin'
Even if i find nothin' better to do
Don't feel like dancin', dancin'
Why'd you break down when I'm not in the mood?
Don't feel like dancin'dancin'
Rather be home with no one when I can't get down with you
Rather be home with no one when I can't get down with you

Umbrella

You have my heart
And we’ll never be world apart
May be in magazines
But you’ll still be my star
Baby cause in the dark
You can’t see shiny cars
And that’s when you need me there
With you I’ll always share
Because

When the sun shines, we’ll shine together
Told you I’ll be here forever
That I’ll always be a friend
Took an oath I’ma stick it out till the end
Now it’s raining more than ever
Know that we’ll still have each other
You can stand under my umbrella 3x

These fancy things, will never come in between
You’re part of my entity, here for Infinity
When the war has took it’s part
When the world has dealt it’s cards
If the hand is hard, together we’ll mend your heart
Because

Chorus

You can run into my arms
It’s okay don’t be alarmed
Come here to me
There’s no distance in between our love
So go on and let the rain pour
I’ll be all you need and more

Chorus 2x

Re: The Baseballs - Biografie
